Every year since 2017, Troop 553 had taken a family trip, then a high adventure trip, and we would alternate back and forth. Here, you will see the past family trips and high adventure trips that Troop 553 has completed, along with correlating pictures with the events.
2021
During the summer of 2021, Troop 553 was fortunate enough to take a family trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania. On this trip, our Scout family had multiple opportunities, including: visiting the Antique Car Museum and Echo Caverns; visiting The National Civil War Museum, in Harrisburg, PA; touring the Pennsylvania Capital and a 2 mile hike up Hawk Rock; visiting the Hershey Story Museum; Chocolate World; Hershey Gardens; and Hershey Park.
2020
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, we as a troop were not able to do any major events.
2019
In the Summer of 2019, Troop 553 went on a family camp to Washington D.C.. At the time of this trip, we had the opportunity to meet 19 different scout troops from all over the world, as they toured our Capital before attending the World Scout Jamboree 2019.

2018
This year, Summer of 2018, Troop 553 would take a week long, high adventure trip to the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.

2017
The Summer of 2017 was the first year that Troop 553 took a major family camp. This year, we took a trip to Gettysburg, PA.

Also this year, Troop 553 would send four scouts to the 2017 National Scout Jamboree, held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia.
